RECEPTIONIST
The Wealthnet Finance Plc is inviting applications from suitably qualified and dedicated candidates to fill the position of Receptionist in its Administration Department at its Head Office, Lilongwe.
The Receptionist will be reporting to the HR & Administration Manager.
MAIN JOB OBJECTIVES
The key role of the position is to provide administrative and secretarial support to the organization. The position holder will be part of the Wealthnet Finance team and provide administrative functions to ensure that administrative support is adequate at all times and that the organization is not hampered by administrative hiccups. The officer will be reporting to the HR & Administration Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The functions of the receptionist shall include but not limited to the following:
Greet visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
Assisting visitors in finding their way around the office
Assisting with a variety of tasks including copying, scanning, taking notes,Filing and making travel plans with budgets
Preparing meeting and training rooms
Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks
Performing ad hoc administrative tasks
Answering, forwarding and screening phone calls
Sorting and distributing mail
Scheduling appointments
Any other duties as assigned from time to time by relevant authorities
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Advanced Diploma in Office Management and Administration plus 120 Words per minute typing speed.
Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Good time management skills
Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
