Marble Hill University (MHU) is a private University recognized, registered and accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). The University is currently offering the following programmes:

i. Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration

ii. Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management

iii. Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing

The University also offers Professional Diploma Courses which are examined by external boards such as BMEC, ABE, ABMA and CIPS. Additionally, the University is in the process of registering additonal degree programmes with NCHE as follows: Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Auditing, Bachelor of Commerce in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and Bachelor of Arts in Community Development.

The University is seeking qualified Lecturers with Masters Degree to lecture in the following programmes:

a) Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting

b) Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration

c) Bachelor of Commerce in Procurement and Supply Chain Management

d) Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing

e) Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management

f) Bachelor of Arts in Community Development.

The incumbents will be responsible for the following duties:

a) Organizing lecturing materials with the approval of the Faculty.

b) Maintaining acceptable standards of lecturing, and ensuring that facilities are available for research in their respective disciplines.

c) Liaising with other departments, professional institutions, associations and similar bodies on matters affecting their department.

d) Representing the department’s academic interests, in the context of the University’s strategy to industry, government, the professional and educational communities in local and, where appropriate international arenas

e) Representing the department’s interests/- within the University.

f) Leading in curriculum development and review of curriculum and courses in their area of specialty.

g) Teaching specialized subjects in the curriculum/syllabi.

h) Conducting research in areas of his/her competence.

i) Planning outreach programmes for students as appropriate.

j) Representing the faculty at national and international conferences/symposium in their area of specialty.

a) A minimum of Master’s degree in a relevant field or its equivalent.

b) A minimum of two years teaching experience at recognized and accredited institutions of higher learning.

c) Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented setting.

d) Ability to conduct research/consultancies.

e) Ability to develop relevant courses and course outlines.

f) Ability to develop a lesson plan.
